Surfers Paradise

Tofinho is a surfing hotspot and people come from all around the world to catch a wave or two. Although the waves are not always big there is always a perfect right break.

Local Dragnet Fishermen

Local Mozambiquan boys drag fishing with their homemade nets. Their main catch is tiny little fish which they cook.

Whales

Even the Whales come to Tofo on holiday. From June to October there are hundreds of whales passing by or just playing out at sea - it is a spectacular sight with the younger whales diving in and out of the water.

Tofinho Blowhole

These blowholes at Tofinho are stunning. The sound of the water blowing through the holes in the rocks is very loud and the spray rises really high.

The sun peeks out over the horizon and spreads its warm arms out to embrace this beautiful place. A new day dawns.

As we passed this man selling coconuts on the side of the road to Maxixe we were surprised to see he was a "scarecrow" man - he looked so realistic from far but so far from real close up
